6‑Ingredient Immune‑Boosting Garlic Lemon Chicken Real food, real nutrients — perfect for cold season!
Ingredients
Chicken pieces | 3 - 4
Squash | 1 cup
Fresh garlic | 2-3 cloves, minced
Oregano | 1 heaped tsp
Lemon | half
Olive oil | 2 - 3 tbsp
Salt + pepper to taste
Step‑by‑Step Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (200°C).
Marinate chicken pieces with salt/pepper, crushed garlic, lemon, and a hint of olive oil for ½ hour or more if you have time
Heat pan on stove, add a tbsp of olive oil, when hot, add marinated chicken pieces, cook for 3-4 mins on each side or till lightly browned.
On a baking tray, lined with a foil, arrange the chicken pieces.
Add cubed butternut squash after 15 minutes around chicken pieces
Cook for 25-30 mins (total time) or until done
